Airworthiness Review & ARC
Part-ML Airworthiness Reviews and Airworthiness Review Certificates (ARC) for eligible aircraft.
PA Maintenance can perform Airworthiness Reviews for applicable Part-ML aircraft and issue the corresponding Airworthiness Review Certificate where the applicable requirements, conditions and authorisation are met. Owners often describe this as an “ARC inspection”; the formal process is the Airworthiness Review, with the ARC issued after a satisfactory review.
Records review
Review of continuing-airworthiness records, maintenance status, aircraft hours, applicable maintenance programme information and other required records.
Physical aircraft review
Review of the aircraft configuration and condition in conjunction with the documented airworthiness review.
ADs, modifications & repairs
Review of applicable Airworthiness Directives and the status and documentation of modifications and repairs within the scope of the review.
Maintenance programme
Where applicable, the maintenance programme is considered in conjunction with the airworthiness review in accordance with the relevant Part-ML requirements.
Findings & closure
Findings that prevent a satisfactory review need to be addressed before the ARC can be issued.
ARC issue
Following a satisfactory review and where the applicable requirements are met, the Airworthiness Review Certificate can be issued in the applicable EASA format.
Planning the review
Send the aircraft registration and the relevant continuing-airworthiness and maintenance records before the review. That makes it easier to identify missing information and plan the physical review efficiently.
